Something was missing.

One night sitting on the side of the bed I asked my wife, “Do you get the feeling that something’s missing from our lives?” We talked about it for a while and decided to try a church where my friend was its newly installed pastor.

When we got there, we saw people hugging each other. They hugged us too. Neither of us had ever experienced anything like this and certainly not among so many different types of people. On our way home my wife said, “They actually seemed glad to see us.” That’s when I knew what we had been missing: Community.
