Bio:

I am a second year seminary student at Candler School of Theology at Emory University. I attend Central UCC in Decatur, GA where in August of 2007 I begin the student in-care process on the road to ordination. My partner and our two daughters live in an historic, family freindly neighborhood in the city of Atlanta. Our children attend a community public school and are loved deeply for their whole selves - gifts, challenges and their family makeup. I am deeply blessed to find a true home in the United Church of Christ. Raised a Southern Baptist, I connect deeply with the congragational nature (and the complex diversity that entails) of the UCC. My family has experienced a church of radical welcome at Central UCC and I, in turn, hope to live into that hospitaltity toward others. I have launched the first UCC chapel (Koinonia UCC) in Second Life: Second Life is a 3-D virtual world entirely built and owned by its residents. Since opening to the public in 2003, it has grown explosively and today is inhabited by a total of 6,628,340 people from around the globe.
