I grew up in the UCC,  in Lancaster Co Pennsylvania. I received the best Christian foundation I could have ever hoped for.
I remember a classmate asked me what UCC stood for, and before I could answer another person jumped in and said "Utterly Confused Christian". It seems that our "liberal" doctrine didn't fit the expected mold, of our  “conservative” community.
A few years ago, I transferred my membership to MCC. I felt I needed to be in a faith community of my peers, I have always missed UCC, and when I saw the TV commercials, it was like God slapped me on the back of the head and said ...."idiot...go back to UCC where you belong"
Whoever came up with those commercials, They did the trick for me...thank you...thank you...thank you!

Dear Danab, thanks so much for your testimony, and welcome back home!

We hope you'll find a congregation near where you live which will meet you high hopes for our church. And no matter what happens, please know that you are always welcome here in our small but growing online community!

Blessings on you and those you love as we take the journey together with Jesus towards the Cross, and beyond to Resurrection and new life!

Hey, Dana!
Welcome! I currently live in Lancaster, and used to be the pastor of Faith UCC down on Wabank Road. Do you still live in the area, or have you moved on?

Oh, that's too funny. I'll be preaching there on Mother's Day while their interim takes a Sunday off.
