Who do you (UCC) baptize? Only UCC memebers? for adults waning to be baptised iS there a prep class 1st? Also What about children -- I have two 7 year olds (Not twins) Thanks Lauren

I missed this post -- I'm sorry I haven't yet responded.
In UCC congregations practices may vary some, but here's my experience in UCC congregations We baptize infants, children, youth and adults -- depending on the request. When I've baptized adults we've had a session or two together to talk about the significance of baptism - but I wouldn't call it a prep class.
Can you get in touch with a local UCC congregation to ask more questions?
