It will soon be the one year anniversary of the horrific shooting in the Lancaster County, PA one-room schoolhouse, perpertrated by the mentally ill neighbor to the Amish.  Five young girls were shot and five severely wounded - - the parents and religious community did forgive and try to help the suicidal gun-wielder's widow and surviving children.   Is this "old news" in the era of Utah coalmining fatalities, O.J. arrest and Paris Hilton/L. Lohan jail appearances that are given obsessive coverage for ratings-driven news shows?   Will American Mainstream Media be at all interested to tell the story of the forgiving Christians in that part of Pennsylvania?

I believe this fourth weekend of September there is coverage at the PBS series (Religion & Ethics Newsweekly) - -
